LAST MINUTE INFO, FOR TICKET HOLDERS: 
 
  • EVENT HOURS: Doors open at 8:30pm.  Entertainment runs until 1:30am.  See Menu page for food and beverage service hours.
  • PLAN AHEAD: Allow ample time for travel and parking, due to road closures and high traffic volume.
  • METRO: On Jan 20 Metro plans to run a regular Sunday schedule (7am - midnight.)  However, for the latest info click here and then click the link for "Daily Hours and Service" in the middle of that page. 
  • PARKING: If driving, give yourself extra time and be patient.  We do not manage the parking in DC, but know of a few options: You can valet park at the Hyatt Regency ($45).  Also, the Colonial Parking garage at 15 E St. NW (where E St. crosses NJ Ave. ) will be open until 2 a.m.  Visit their website here.  There is also a self-parking garage at 415 New Jersey Ave. NW (across street from the Hyatt Regency), operated by Central Parking.  Read more about their garage here.  There are also other garages nearby which will be open.

What are the seating arrangements for the All-American Inaugural Ball?
 The All-American Inaugural Ball is a reception-style gala.  In other words, it is NOT a seated event. Seating is VERY, VERY limited to maximize event space and comfortable crowd flow. Reserved tables are sold out at this time.

Do I need to bring anything with me? 
The All American Inaugural Ball features an all-inclusive package (includes all your drinks.)  You will need cash for parking and coat check, if you use these services.  All attendees are required to bring an up-to-date photo ID and, also, please remember that you must bring the bar-coded ticket you printed in order to gain entry into the event.

What is the dress code? The event is "Creative Black Tie Optional" with an emphasis on "creative"! Typically men wear either a tuxedo or a suit, while women generally wear either gowns or cocktail dresses... but many add their own flavor of patriotism to brighten the evening.  This is a party.. have fun with it!

Is there a minimum age to attend the event? Guests of all ages are welcome at the All American Inaugural Ball; however, EVERY GUEST MUST HAVE A TICKET TO ENTER THE BALL. Also please note that anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by, and is the responsibility of, an adult over 18. No one under the age of 21 may drink alcohol.

What is the All American Inaugural Ball? 
The All American Inaugural Ball is an exiting gala, taking place on January 20, 2013 to celebrate the swearing in of the President and Vice President of the United States; and also honors several American Heroes.  Come celebrate Washington, DC's most profound tradition with your fellow, proud Americans.  


Who is invited to the All American Inaugural Ball? 
Members of Congress and the administration, other US dignitaries, members of the media, All American Hero Award recipients and ticket purchasers are invited to attend the All American Inaugural Ball. 



When & where is the All American Inaugural Ball? 
The event takes place on January 20, 2013 from 9:00pm until 1:00am (doors open at 8:30, service runs from 9:00pm until 1:00am, and entertainment ends at 1:30am)  Located at the prestigious Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill, Washington DC (400 New Jersey Ave, NW, Washington DC 20001 202-737-1234)

Will the President or the Vice President be there? 
As usual, the President and Vice President will be invited to attend the All American Ball Inaugural Ball.  However, they are not expected to be in attendance.

What entertainment and food will be at the All American Inaugural Ball?
 Tickets to the All American Inaugural Ball are “All Inclusive”, meaning that all drinks and food are included.  Details about the menu can be found on the “Menu” page of this web site.  Likewise details about the entertainment can be found on the “Entertainment” page of his web site. 

What is the service like at the All American Inaugural Ball?
 The Hyatt Regency Washington DC is one of DC's premiere gala venue. The award-winning staff takes great pride in ensuring that every guest has a fantastic experience.

Are hotel rooms included with the All American Ball Ticket? Event tickets do not inlcude hotel rooms. You may contact the hotel directly at (202) 737-1234 to reserve a room.

What is the schedule of the presidential swearing-in ceremony?
 A private swearing-in ceremony will take place on Sunday, January 20, 2013.  The public ceremony and parade will take place on Monday, January 21, 2013.  The Presidential Inaugural Committee is responsible for planning the official events related to the Inauguration.



How do I get tickets to the swearing-in ceremony?
 Tickets for the Inaugural swearing-in ceremony will be distributed in January 2013 by both Senators and Representatives of Congress.  Please contact your state's Senator or Representative for more details.
